Snow Cones

When Minnesota continues to give you snow in March....

Make snow cones! (...or our version of snow cones - in a bowl!)

There was something inside me that was REFUSING to make hot chocolate yet again after being outside with the kids. I said to myself: "Who cares if this syrup is contaminated with high fructose corn syrup. We are making snow cones!" All in moderation, right?

My youngest wasn't sure what to think of this new concoction.

When all you want to see is some slight sign of spring, but nature is refusing to oblige, resort to using the last few optimistic cells in your body to stay sane. Get creative. Use what nature gives you and hang in there.

We'll be there soon, fellow Minnesotans. Until then, dream of warmer days and green grass and have yourself a homemade snow cone!
