Lego Birthday Party

When my 4-year-old said he wanted a Lego birthday party, I went straight to my computer for inspiration. I found Amy over at Living Locurto. She had a great Lego party invitation printable that I quickly bought and downloaded onto my computer. It couldn't have been easier!!

Turns out Amy threw a Lego party for her son recently and had pictures on her blog/website of that party, from decorations to party games. Because she did such a good job, I just basically copied what she did! (that's allowed, right?)...

Did I mention that her "printable downloads" not only included the invitations, but also cupcake toppers?....

... and water bottle labels?...

Yes, I did cake pops again! Amy did them, too, so I figured it'd be another snack for the kids and/or adults that were there.

Head over to Bakerella for the recipe of cake pops if you want to tackle them! The part I did NOT copy from Amy was the Lego car racing. I copied that from my sister (thanks Cari!). The kiddos put cars together and raced them down a track made by a friend of ours.

And no, the racetrack will not become a permanent fixture in our living room. At least I hope it won't. If it's still there in July, will someone please come over and talk some sense into me? Thanks in advance.

Happy birthday Ian! I hope this was a memorable one for you! We love you very much!
